I am a mathematician working in the area of geometric mechanics and fluid dynamics. My current research interests include:
Boundary-element methods for unsteady inviscid, incompressible flows
CFD of unsteady, incompressible viscous flows at moderate Reynolds numbers
Reduced-order models for fluids (e.g. POD / DMD)
Fluid-structure interactions
High-performance scientific computing with C/C++/Python, GPU / CUDA, MPI, and OpenGL
Feedback control in robotics and fluid dynamics
Geometric mechanics; nonholonomic mechanics and control; applications of differential geometry to mechanics, robotics, and fluid dynamics
